Honoring Barbara DeFina with the Kathleen Carroll Award at the Lake Placid Film Festival. Ms. DeFina has a storied film career, with major credits including Goodfellas, The Color of Money, Hugo, Casino, Age of Innocence, and You Can Count On Me. As tremendous as her career in film has been, it is her advocacy for the film industry, in particular the education and opportunity of future film professionals that Adirondack Film is recognizing.
