Adirondack Film collaborates and cross-promotes with numerous arts and cultural organizations and venues to bring quality and diverse film programming to Essex County and the Adirondacks.
Adirondack Film celebrated the 20th Anniversary of Lake Placid Film Festival in October 2021.
The schedule was bold and ambitious.
Audiences enjoyed four days of total cinematic immersion and camaraderie set in the authentic Adirondack mountain town of Lake Placid, New York.
From International and American features to thought-provoking shorts spanning several genres, the scope of offerings was impressive.
The Festival Tribute honored Academy Award ®nominated writer and director, Raoul Peck, and his recent works Exterminate the Brutes and I am not your Negro.
Films, panels, after-hours dinners, live music, wine tastings and more…in the planning for 2022.
Congratulations on a great weekend!

What a pleasure it was to present the "Women in Comedy" panel at the Lake Placid Film Festival! The ladies thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience…. I have extensive experience working with film festivals and yours was one of the best I've been to.
Count me in for next year!

You and your team are on to something special, and we enjoyed participating in the events and activities. I can see why you are so enthusiastic about the future of the festival. I will spread the word and let my industry colleagues know that Lake Placid is a “must attend” and “on the rise” destination for film folks.
